Mr. Emeka Ugwu-Oju obtained his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Lagos. He worked as a banker before resigning to pursue private enterprise. Mr. Ugwu-Oju is a renowned entrepreneur and highly successful business man and the Chief Executive Officer of M & M Investment Ltd. He is a strong advocate of private sector led development and his businesses are involved in many vital sectors of the Nigerian economy.

Mr. Ugwu-Oju because of his burning desire to serve as a catalyst in promoting economic transformation in Nigeria, founded NESH an organization that focuses on young entrepreneurs being given the right mentoring to actualize their goals. He is also involved in several other sociopolitical organizations seeking for equity and justice for the masses, and tries to pay back to the society through many noble projects and initiatives aimed towards the attainment of a good and well-governed society. In all his civil society involvements, he is driven by a common concern for the good of the Nigerian state and its people. Mr. Ugwu- Oju is the President of the South-East/South-South Professionals of Nigeria.
