Dr. Jonathan Nwiloh
Dr. Jonathan Nwiloh attended medical school at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. He subsequently pursued postgraduate training in General Surgery at College of Physicians & Surgeons, Columbia University, New York affiliated hospital and Cardiothoracic Surgery training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York affiliated hospital. Dr. Nwiloh is certified by the American Board of Surgery, American Board of Thoracic Surgery and Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He is a fellow of several medical societies including American College of Surgeons and Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. He also belongs to several medical organizations including American College of Surgeons, Society of Thoracic Surgeons and Pan African Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons.
Dr. Nwiloh has several scientific publications in peer review Journals and is the founding Editor of Nigerian Journal of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery. He has been in private medical practice in Atlanta, GA, USA for over 2 decades. Dr. Nwiloh is a Knight of Magistral Grace, Order of Malta, the fourth oldest order of the Roman Catholic Church an International relief agency involved in humanitarian works.
Dr. Nwiloh has spent close to 2 decades of his medical career involved in philanthropic and humanitarian services. He is the founder of Global Eagle Foundation, an Atlanta, based NGO that organizes volunteer group of medical professionals that carries out charity cardiac surgeries and also help start and assist new open heart surgery programs in underdeveloped countries. He has received several awards including "Officer of the Order of the Niger” from the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria and the "Anambra Outstanding Public Servant Award" from the Governor in his State of origin.
